Hades Triumphant

Editing almost six years later to ask WHY the hell is THIS quick doodle so popular???? 😂 of the dozens and dozens of paintings I have on here and the artistic breakthroughs I've made, or literally anything I've spent more than 30 minutes on. Why this one? Hell it's so popular, I literally found it stolen out there a while ago. Is the pull of fanart just that incredible?


On the Daily Spitpaint group on Facebook (www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzVKCI…) a couple days ago, one of the prompts was "underworld dealer", and I automatically thought "Hades". The drawing I did got a staggering amount of attention, so I thought I'd give it another go with the whole Prismacolor-marker/rubbing-alcohol-wash that I've been exploring lately.

A couple of small touch-ups with Inktense art block and Paint Shop Pro were added; referenced from a screencap.
